Course Summary:
Combinational and sequential logic are at the heart of digital electronics. They allow us to understand how systems process binary information, from basic logic gates to more complex circuits such as registers, counters, and automata.Combinational logic encompasses circuits whose output depends solely on instantaneous inputs, while sequential logic introduces the concept of memory through flip-flops and registers.This module will enable students to:
- Analyze and simplify logic functions.
-Ddesign combinational and sequential digital circuits.
-Master tools such as Boolean algebra and Karnaugh maps.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to implement complete logic architectures used in modern digital systems.
