The main objectives of this course are to:

Review fundamental digital logic concepts (combinational and sequential circuits) as a foundation for understanding embedded computing.

Introduce microprocessors and their role as the central element in embedded computer systems.

Study memory systems and their organization, hierarchy, and interaction with processors.

Understand the main microprocessor architectures (RISC and CISC), including their design principles and practical applications.
